Circle Electrical at the Weston Business Breakfast

Circle Electrical recently exhibited at the Weston Business Breakfast, where local leaders, businesses and public sector organisations came together to discuss regeneration, investment and Weston-super-Mare’s future.

We were invited to exhibit because of our involvement in the Birnbeck Pier landside refurbishment, a project that brings together heritage restoration, modern infrastructure and careful electrical work in a highly sensitive setting.

The event included speakers from local government, education and business, including Daniel Aldridge MP, North Somerset Council, Weston College and Somerset Chamber of Commerce. A clear theme throughout the morning was Weston’s continued growth, and the role heritage-led investment can play in supporting the town’s future.

For Circle Electrical, that message felt particularly relevant. Birnbeck Pier is exactly the kind of project we value: technically demanding, locally significant and rooted in long-term improvement rather than quick fixes. Working on a site with such history requires a careful balance between modern electrical standards and respect for the building’s heritage context.

As exhibitors, we had the chance to speak with local organisations, share more about our role in the refurbishment, and connect with others involved in Weston’s continued development.

It was a useful and encouraging morning, and a good reminder of how important skilled local contractors are in helping major regeneration projects move from plan to reality.
